Arcturus founder Kevin Welch was recognized as a newly licensed Hawaiʻi architect during AIA Honolulu's 2026 Centennial Kick-Off celebration and later featured in the AIA Hawaiʻi Centennial Club newsletter.
The beginning of 2026 marked an important milestone for both Arcturus and its founder, Kevin Welch, as he was recognized by AIA Honolulu during the 2026 Kick-Off Party celebrating the beginning of the organization’s Centennial year.
Held at the AIA Honolulu Center for Architecture, the annual gathering brings together architects from across Hawaiʻi to welcome newly elected board members, recognize committee achievements, and celebrate architects who have recently earned licensure within the state. During the evening, Kevin was introduced as one of Hawaiʻi’s newly licensed architects, marking an important step in his long-term commitment to serving the islands through thoughtful residential, hospitality, and commercial design.
The recognition continued in the February edition of the AIA Hawaiʻi Centennial Club News, where Kevin was featured as one of the organization’s newly licensed architects. In the member spotlight, he shared his belief that every project should strive to become his next favorite work, reflecting a lifelong appreciation for architecture’s ability to create meaningful experiences. The newsletter also introduced Arcturus as a practice dedicated to high-end residential and boutique hospitality design while highlighting the firm’s vision for continued growth throughout Hawaiʻi and the Pacific region.
